Our client, a well-respected and successful financial services organisation are looking to strength their finance team with the recruitment of a Regulatory Reporting & Financial Risk Manager. Reporting directly the Financial Director, the ideal candidate will have experience of Regulatory Reporting to the FCA e.g. ICAAP and Pillar 3 disclosures.

As Regulatory Reporting & Financial Risk Manager you will be responsible for submitting accurate and timely statutory and regulatory financial records and financial information to the appropriate regulator. You will also be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the Internal Capital Adequacy Process and preparing financial risk management metrics.

Summary of key areas of Responsibilities:

• Regulatory and Statutory Reporting
• Stress Testing
• Internal Capital Adequacy e.g. ICAAP & Pillar 3 preparation
• Financial Risk Management e.g. Credit Risk
• MI reporting to the board
• Treasury Bank Office Reporting
• Preparation of systems & controls report
• Serve as Data Protection Officer
• Serve as Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO)
• Line Management of 1

Key skills & experiences

• Relevant professional qualification would be advantageous but not essential
• At least 2 years' experience in a similar regulatory reporting and / or risk management position within a financial services provider
• The ability to work to prioritise work schedules in order to meet strict deadlines
• Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written including report writing
• The ability to interpret and simplify complex information and data
• To be an experienced leader and have people management capabilities
• The ability to manage operational requirements together with strategic thinking
• Possess advanced excel spreadsheet skills
• Project management skills and experience of process re-engineering would be advantageous
