Asbestos Surveyor - Grays, Essex
CALLING OUT TO ALL ASBESTOS SURVEYORS!!
A new opportunity has arisen for an Asbestos Surveyor to join a team of dynamic and professional Asbestos specialists at their South Essex based office near Grays, due to a steep upwards incline in divisional growth!
This nationally recognised Environmentally disciplined consultancy, for the build environment, offer a full UK coverage and a range of bespoke services including Asbestos, Occupational Hygiene, H&S, Legionella, and other Infrastructure based disciplines including Ground Investigations, Geoenvironmental and testing services, operating from over 20 offices UK wide, allowing you to cross operate.
Having made recent acquisitions of new projects and contracts that are Commercial and Residential/Domestic based, my client is offering the perfect opportunity for eventual progression into a fully pledged Consultant role, helping you build your skills and experience in the field.
To be considered for this opportunity of Asbestos Surveyor:
You will need, as a minimum, the BOHS P402 qualification with a minimum of 1-3 years of on-site experience as an Asbestos Surveyor. In addition to this, my client is seeking the ideal candidate to be able to complete Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on a variety of Domestic and/or Commercial properties.
Lastly, experience of using Teams or Tracker to submit relevant data, is an advantage, however training will be provided. Possession of a full valid UK driving license is also imperative, to cover a range of London and South East locations.
Key Asbestos Surveyor duties:
Visiting a range of clients, sites and projects, you will be required to conduct Asbestos Surveys and consult with clients on a range of Commercial level properties, following HSG:264 guidelines and current health and safety legislations. Submissions of samples and reports and Bulk Samples and Surveying will require you to be strict with deadlines set.
A competitive salary from GBP24,000 up to GBP28,000 is on offer, with additional benefits including a company vehicle scheme, pension scheme, training and fantastic career development opportunities.
