My Client Primary School is looking to enrol a conscientious Graduate who is looking to become a Primary School Teacher. The role is working as a Teaching Assistant for the entire school year working with a year 6 class. The class teacher is a mainstay at the school and is an exceptional classroom practitioner.
The Primary School was judged by Ofsted to require improvement in 2015 and all staff are working flat out to ensure that they are providing an excellent education for all the children with large strides in improvement having been made already.
The Year 6 class are a happy and settled, mixed ability group and your role will be to work with both lower and upper sets to raise attainment in all subjects. You will also be required to give 1:1 support for pupils as directed by your Class Teacher.
The school grounds are large and you will benefit from helping your Class Teacher in a spacious airy classroom and a large outdoor area with bespoke covered area ensuring outdoor activities in most weathers.
