Civil Engineer - Infrastructure Design
Experienced Infrastructure Engineer, Chartered or approaching Chartered, urgently required.
Our client is a reputable civil and structural engineering consultancy providing a range of services to a wide variety of sectors including commercial, residential, education and public sector.
They are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Design Engineer. You will join the Civil Engineering team to provide highways, drainage and external works design on a wide range of projects, including both New Build and Refurbishment projects for public and private sectors and will work under the leadership of the Civil Engineering Director.
+ The role will include client liaison, design, interface with project teams, and contract implementation.
+ Carrying out detailed infrastructure design for roads, drainage etc. including S278 highway schemes and S104 drainage schemes together with preparing technical specifications.
+ Ability to complete, or knowledge of, Flood Risk Assessments, Transport Planning
Excellent communication skills and computer literacy are essential: and a good level of computer ability in AutoCAD, Ground Modelling, WinDes software is required. AutoCAD Civils 3D skills and a working knowledge of the NEC suite of Contracts will be an advantage.
The ability to work on your own initiative, to operate as part of a Project team and to represent the company with confidence to a variety of clients and outside organisations is expected.
An excellent command of the English language, communication, grammatical, computing and interpersonal skills are essential.
The successful Infrastructure Engineer will work from a large, modern office and be in receipt of a competitive salary and benefits package which is negotiable dependent on experience.
