We are supporting a local nursery to recruit a maternity manager to work in their 50 place nursery.
They are looking for a Nursery Manager, with plenty of previous experience, who can hit the ground running! Hours: Monday to Friday, shift pattern hours too; Must be able to demonstrate their previous leadership experience and professional development. Preferred previous manager experience although highly experienced and highly qualified deputy considered although previous experience with leading Ofsted inspections desirable. MUST know EYFS, regulations, record keeping, team player. Be able to meet deadlines, must be reliable, honest, trustworthy and be able to manage a team of staff and not get involved with politics.
Must be prepared to spend time in the nursery rooms monitoring staff and covering if necessary for sickness and holidays.
Must be able to familiarise the nursery policies and act accordingly in the day to day operation of the nursery.
Must be able to converse professionally with parents and visitors
Must adhere to our confidentiality policy
Must work efficiently
Salary negotiable but starting at GBP25,000 plus 24 days holiday
Free parking and free gym and use of a swimming pool.
