Workers will be working from the Colchester/Earls Colne/Braintree Yards
mainly, going to various sites as required.
However, for longer term project work, they nay go straight to the site location, or be from that area.

Working in a busy specialised Manufacturing Plant, producing various types of concrete slabs, panels, frames.
Covering all types of Concreting prep an specialised and pour work including working , specialised moulds, for slab areas, paving areas.
Setting & Operating Mixing Machinery & Equipment.
Imputing job details into the control panel, for each batch of work.
CONCRETE MOULD MAKERS/SETTERS
Working in a busy specialised Manufacturing Plant, producing various types of concrete slabs, panels, frames.
Covering all types of Concreting prep an specialised and pour work including working , on making up specialised moulds, that are for slab an wall areas, paving areas.
Cleaning up moulds after work.
Also assisting with other work such as Setting & Operating Mixing Machinery & Equipment.
CONCRETING PREP & POUR WORKERS

Setting & Operating Mixing Machinery & Equipment.
FORK LIFT/PRODUCTION OPS
Working in a busy specialised Manufacturing Plant, producing various types of concrete slabs, panels, frames.
Covering all types of Concreting prep an specialised and pour work including working , specialised moulds, for slab areas, paving areas.
Using a Counter Balance Fork Lift mainly, to move materials from work areas to dispatch areas, plus collect materials, ready for process work.
Assisting when required with Setting & Operating Mixing Machinery & Equipment.
Ensuring, the work is as per the specifications on the job work card an the mixing an amounts match up correctly.
Checking on the work, making sure the concrete mixture, is correct an ready to pour.
Working from drawings ensuring work is completed correctly to correct dimensions.
Will need to be computer literate and able to set & operate computer
controlled mixing & pouring machines/plant. Ideally hold a CSCS Card & Fork Lift Cert, for Counter Balance and ideally Combi or Side Loader
Plus other general work such is Slabbing, Finishing work.
Applicants should have similar experience and be willing to train to learn all aspects of the varied roles. Which would mean high pay as you progress and become more competent in the role.
Starting Pay Rates
Mould Makers = GBP11 - GBP12.50 per hr +
Machine Setters/Ops = GBP9 - 11 per hr +
Process Ops = GBP8.50 - GBP9.50 per hr +
Fork Lift/Production Ops ? = GBP9 - 10 per hr
All depend on experience, skills, quals etc
Term 6 - 13 weeks pos long term

STEEL FIXERS
Working in Manufacturing Yard, where they produces specialised concrete items such as car park flooring & wall sections, plus others for various sites, such as Shopping Precincts, Car Parks, Buildings.
Cutting steel bar and wire to suit, bending bar to form loops etc, preparing steel frames ready for concreting work.
Steel Fixing of steel reinforcement bars & wiring to drawings.
Ensuring work is completed to strict QC Safety policies.
Must have good skills & experience.
Ideally have Current CSCS Card, ideally Fork Lift Cert & Slinging/Signalling, Card
Abrasive Wheels Cards or Certs
Hours of Work = (Apply online only) plus overtime
Mon - Fri plus if required on Sat
plus Sun if required. Working in the Production Yard mainly and on various Sites, ideally living in a 20 mile radius There will also be the strong likelihood of working extra O/T where required.

Working on various sites, such as Shopping Precincts, Car Parks, Buildings.
Cutting steel bar and wire to suit, preparing steel frames ready for concreting work.
Steel Fixing of steel reinforcement bars & wiring to drawings.
Ensuring work is completed to strict QC Safety policies.
Must have Site skills & experience.
Must have Current CSCS Card, ideally Slinging/Signalling, IPAF or MEWPS Card
Working at Heights, Abrasive Wheels Cards or Certs
Hours of Work = (Apply online only) plus overtime

plus Sun if required. Working on various Sites, ideally living in a 30 mile radius There will also be the strong likelihood of working extra O/T where required.

Working on Site Work, measuring and marking out from drawings & fabricating steel work mainly. Also working on specialised productions such as one offs or small batches of bespoke fabrications such as - Metal Balconies, Stair Ways etc Able to fabricate tubing, frames, angle, box, etc from drawings. Who could start asap. mainly. Using Grinders & Polishers to complete. Also able to measure, mark out & drill concrete and fit components to drawings.
