Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Sales/Purchase Ledger Controller to join a business based in the Bradford area of West Yorkshire.
You will oversee 1 additional staff member who takes control of the invoice posting whilst you effectively control the Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger, being able to handle Suppliers, their queries and questions, whilst helping out in payroll once a month and during periods of staff absence.
Duties & Responsibilities to include but not exclusive to:
*Receive, register, check and clear purchase ledger invoices for payment against GRN provisions or invoice authorisation and purchase orders
*Oversee 1 additional junior staff member
*Scan invoices and distribute accordingly
*Query resolution
*Check invoices are appropriately authorised
*Pass invoices for payment
*Supplier Statement reconciliation
*Analysis work on purchase nominals
*Weekly Payroll - processed from Production and Time sheets
Elevation would be keen to speak to candidates with the following skills and experience:
*Experience of Sage 1000 for Purchase Ledger and Sage 50 for Payroll would be preferable but is not essential also excel experience would be beneficial.
*You will have prior experience in Purchase Ledger/ Sales Ledger and ideally elements of Credit Control
*You will be able to work to tight deadlines but still show a high attention to detail and be able to prioritise your own workload.
*You will be friendly, professional and a real team player.
