Based in Birmingham
Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 + Excellent Benefits

As one of the UK's leading independent professional services companies we are currently looking to recruit an experienced and confident Credit Controller at our Birmingham office. Reporting to and working closely alongside the Credit Control Supervisor, you would assist in the smooth running of the Credit Control function, ensuring work is completed in a timely and accurate manner at all times.

Working in a call focused environment you will be responsible for the collection of overdue invoice payments and outstanding debts by telephone, fax and email, liaising with Partners and portfolio holders and helping resolve queries and disputes in a professional and confident manner. You will be expected to ensure debt is collected in accordance with agreed timescales and that all systems are updated accordingly with any relevant information.

The ideal candidate for the position must have experience in a high volume credit control environment. A background dealing with a broad range of clients is also essential. You will be a good communicator with client-facing experience and a mature and confident telephone manner, as well as good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).

You will be a supremely well organised individual, able to multitask and prioritise a workload effectively, with strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail. You must also be able to demonstrate excellent problem solving ability as well as strong negotiation skills and a tenacious attitude.
