Good morning
Are you a dedicated trainee teacher of English seeking your first permanent posting in the Derbyshire area?
Or are you due to relocate to the Derby area after qualifying as an English NQT and are seeking an amazing English teaching posting to accompany the new chapter in your life?
If either of the above seem to be summing up your current situation, then maybe this exciting new opportunity in an OFSTED 'Good' Derby secondary school could be perfect for youwhy not call Tony at i-teachers on ***********I could be organizing interviews for you today
***Full-time English Teacher/NQT role;
***MPS/UPS salary;
***'Good' OFSTED Derbyshire secondary school;
***Excellent CPD and Teacher Mentor support for NQTs;
***Large open-plan school building;
***Supportive and dynamic Head of English;
***Great Derby location with easy transport links.
As the successful candidate, you will be a determined and proficient English teacher or trainee, with a clear passion for teaching and raising under-achievement in English. You will need to show a readiness to take a keen and active role in the planning and resource preparation alongside your colleagues. There will be close support provided by your HOD, along with your SLT link Line Manager. The provision for CPD in this school is excellent, as is the NQT Mentor Programme.
As a member of the English department, you will be working alongside a team of 7 teachers, with a teaching timetable of Key Stage 3 and GCSE teaching. There may be an option for the successful candidate to take some A-level support and intervention if required, with a view to this being more permanent in the second full year of employment.
The school is in a successful phase of its history, with GCSE results showing an upward trend over the last 5 years, and an impressive OFSTED 'Good with Outstanding Features' grading last year. The Headteacher has a clear vision to maintain this upward pattern, and this has led to a need for continued staff recruitment of dynamic teachers. The school has a large and spacious campus, with recently modernized buildings and easy access for road and rail networks.
If this sounds like the sort of amazing opportunity that you have been searching for, why waste time? Send your CV over to Tony at i-teachers (**************************) now by clicking 'Apply'!
