Project Engineer - Mechanical or Electrical
My client is one of the UK's leading MEICA contractors within the Water sector. They have released brilliant opportunities for Mechanical and Electrical Project Engineers to join their team based in South Wales working on water projects.
The position
Reporting to the Project manager, you will manage M&E as well as combined schemes mainly within the water industry. You will work across the full project lifecycle to ensure the completion of projects in line with budget and H&S standards, utilising the resources at your disposal as well as site installation and construction staff.
As an active member of the management team, you will attend internal and external reviews, progress meetings as well as attending site visits to make sure KPI's are met alongside budget constraints. Understanding project requirements and solutions, part of your role is to coordinate with suppliers, sub-contractors as well as internal teams to manage site H&S and environmental issues and procure plant, materials and specialist contractors.
You will have responsibility for Profit & Loss on the contract you are given, preparing estimates and quotations for works as well as completing contract documentation (drawings, test sheets etc) and agreeing price variations and final accounts.

In return you will receive a salary of circa GBP38 - GBP40,000 per year depending on experience as well as a lucrative benefits package.
