One of the UK's largest and most successful professional services organisations has an exciting opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic Sales Manager to run the strategically important New Markets Accounts sales team concentrating on Private Sector vertical markets.
The company's finance and procurement management solutions have been successful in winning against Tier 1 solution providers in their existing public sector markets and see huge potential to target new private sector market verticals. We are therefore looking for an exceptional candidate with a proven ability to manage, motivate and mentor the sales team to penetrate existing accounts and develop new private sector market opportunities. You will be entrepreneurial in approach and demonstrate effective sales management capability. A structured, business professional with the ability to create a long-term vision and the determination to create success will excel in this post.
Experience Required:
- 4+ years sales management experience in a services or outcome driven sales environment (prior direct sales experience of minimum 8+ years)
- Development and mentoring capability
- Understanding of sales methodologies (preferably Altify/TAS)
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Aptitude to learn, create and develop within the role - personal capability
- Proven experience in selling business outcome led opportunities
- Knowledge of the Private Sector
- Account management and planning experience
- Experience in building compelling business cases
- Ideally with experience in generating pipeline and building presence within new markets
- Supporting the closure of deals with long complex sales cycles, and ability to support team
- A strong sales manager with experience selling finance software into the Private sector
