A well-established company in the heating sector is looking for a Sales Manager to cover the South West & South Wales Region.
The Role
- The main role is to increase project sales and increase the customer base, for example, Housing Associations, Universities, etc.
- We are looking for someone who has a specification and technical/engineering background to perform technical presentations, train electrical installers and commercial meetings to close deals within South West & South Wales.
- The candidate must have 3-4 years of experience in this area and be used to working under pressure to achieve the monthly / annual targets, and have sales background to negotiate with the clients, installers and key project personnel.
- The key role will involve visiting client premises and project sites.
- The candidate must be used to B2B calls, following guidelines given by the Head Office with a Key Account Manager supervising their agenda, duties and responsibilities.
- Report to the Sales Manager with all the meeting notes and the information needs to be provided weekly.
The Candidate:
- We are looking for a proactive, intelligent and common sense person who is self-motivated, who can work independently and as a member of a team.
- Sales experience on doing presentations to the specification market and be familiar with Local Authorities, HA, Councils, etc.
- Sales Management experience essential. Heating/technical experience preferred.
- This person must be able to travel, with occasional overnight stays.
Requirements:
- Forty hours per week + 20 days holiday p.a.+ Bank Holidays
- Basic salary + commissions (based on total monthly and annual targets): 38.000 -gross DOE + company car, credit card, pc + mobile will be provided.
