An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an Acquisitions and Property Manager to join us in Basingstoke.

Within this role, you will be responsible for providing a high quality, cost effective property acquisitions and management service to local authorities and private landlords for the purposes of social and private housing to agreed targets and performance standards. 

You will develop contacts with Landlords and local agents to promote our schemes, including cold calling, visiting agents, dropping leaflets and attending landlord forums.  You will also negotiate acquisitions and make offers to owners or their agents to acquire property.

In addition, you will arrange appointments to view properties and appraise suitability and will also carry out property inspections and all aspects of property and tenancy management.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you have substantial experience within a similar position, including excellent negotiation and communication skills.  With proven acquisitions/lettings experience, you should also have knowledge of health and safety issues related to rented accommodation coupled with knowledge and understanding of appropriate Landlord, tenant and housing law.

A company car and fuel card is provided as standard.

Candidates should also hold a full UK driving licence
