Our client is an innovative, modern arms-length housing organisation (ALMO), created in October 2005 employing approximately 540 staff and managing 11,500 properties across the borough of Stockport.

They are recognised as a Sunday Times Top 100 ‘Best Places to work in the Public Sector’ employer, have been awarded Investors in People (Gold) status and are also thrilled to have been named UK’s Top Landlord after winning the 24Housing magazine vote.

They now have two exciting opportunities available for experienced Housing and Employment Support Team Leaders to join them to coordinate, supervise and manage the Housing Support and Employment Support Officers.

Providing support and advice to the team members, you must ensure that a consistent, quality service is provided to all customers; managing the provision of Housing and Employment Support to vulnerable households and enabling them to sustain their tenancy and move towards independence.

Essentially, you will motivate, empower and continually develop the team, monitor workloads and outcomes to ensure that targets are met and provide guidance and support to Officers on both a formal and informal basis.

Able to supervise and mentor their respective teams, the successful candidates will have previous experience of working with people in a support, advice, employability or housing setting and must be capable of managing any performance and disciplinary issues with confidence. With strong report writing skills, you should have a good working knowledge of IT and Microsoft applications and excellent literacy and communication skills.

Closing date for applications: Tuesday 4th July 2017

Interview date: 14th and 17th July 2017
