This inclusive Primary School has started its search for an exceptional KS2 Teacher to join its team from September. This is a full-time, permanent vacancy that is suitable for an experienced KS2 Teacher or KS2 NQT looking to teach in an oversubscribed and well-run school.

My client is a modern, two-form entry Primary School based in Bath. Catering for over 400 pupils, this school has school has developed an awesome reputation within the community area and is fast becoming the default choice for local parents. Pupils come from an economically diverse catchment area and many enter school with literacy and numeracy ability below the national average. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of the teaching staff, all pupils make strong progress and most are around or above age related expectations by the time they reach Year 5.

If successfully appointed, you will take charge of a lively and inquisitive Year 5 class of 30 pupils. The class is equally split between boys and girls and a wide range of abilities are represented. You will be ably supported by an experienced and very capable teaching assistant to help you settle in.

To be considered for this role, you will a passionate KS2 Teacher with recent experience within a Year 5 class. The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate outstanding classroom practice, a positive teaching style and a strong track record of achievement in their career to date. You will have the interpersonal skills to be able to build new relationships with pupils and staff quickly. The school needs a teacher who has a commitment to their pupils for delivering lessons that spark life in to a subject in a relevant and engaging way. You will possess a good understanding of the need for team efforts and solo work and the passion to develop a positive learning environment.
