Mechanical Engineer Apprentice, Pay rate £3.50ph, Based: Grays area
We have an exciting opportunity for a Apprentice Mechanical Engineer to join a leading company who specialise in the hire of self-powered portable buildings and storage units. Working towards achieving and advanced apprenticeship in Engineering Maintenance Level 3, you will receive extensive on the job experience and will also attend college. You will be working towards becoming one of the company's qualified Electrical Mechanical Generator Engineers.
As the Mechanical Engineering Apprentice you will work alongside the company's Electrical Mechanical Generator engineers to support with the Inspection, testing and appropriate repairs of the company generator engines.
Candidate requirements;
- Be on target to receive or have already gained a number of GCSE's at grade C or above (English and Maths).
- Ideally have an interest in Engineering / Mechanics
- High level of drive, energy and initiative; proactive, focused, and committed
- Excellent Communication Skills
