I am currently looking for an Embedded Software Engineer for an exciting new opportunity in Maidenhead. Role: Embedded Software Engineer Location: Maidenhead Salary: GBP40,000 - GBP55,000 Benefits: Competitive benefits The Role: Develop the concept, system design and software architecture for new smart home and internet of things products. You will be involved in the full product development cycle, from requirements capture to release of a product. Ensure that the integrity of the system and software architecture is maintained through the full product lifecycle. Key Requirements: Embedded C Bare Metal Development Experience of low-power wireless communications, such as IEEE 802.15.4, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, UART etc. Practical understanding of UML Good understanding of electronics and microcontroller-based embedded systems Degree Qualified in Computer Science, electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent Desirable: RTOS and Linux-based systems Experience of ARM Cortex based microcontrollers Other Comments: You will also be an excellent communicator with good time management skills.
