Casual Fire Safety Check Inspectors - Barnstaple & Bideford, North Devon area

Ad- hoc arrangement subject to Service needs

Grade 3 hourly rate £9.72

Working hours as and when available at any time of the week

We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and organised individuals who are good team players to deliver community safety advice and activities to their local community.  Fire Safety Checks (FSCs) are simple checks that will provide an indication as to the level of fire safety compliance within premises. Advice given will provide guidance to the responsible person for the premises where the Fire Safety Order applies and will also identify those premises that need a more detailed fire safety audit by specialist fire protection personnel.

Applicants should have good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; good links with their local communities as well as an enthusiasm to make our communities safer.

You will be employed under a casual (adhoc) agreement and due to the nature of the programme it is not possible to forecast the amount of work. 

A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced check is required for this post.
