Property Manager (Part time)
6 Month Maternity Contract
Location: Hove
Salary: GBP20k-GBP23 pro rata
Hours: 2 days per week - 9.00-17.30pm
Our client is looking for a Property Manager to join their Property Management team in Hove.
The purpose of the role is to oversee a portfolio of residential properties and ensuring the smooth running of rental properties.
Responsibilities are to include:
* Assisting in the management of a portfolio of tenancies
* Issuing works orders
* Ensuring gas safeties are up to date
* Advising utility companies of meter readings and new tenancies
* Securing tenancy deposits and registering them
* Dealing with deposit disputes
* Serving appropriate notices
* Liaising closely with the lettings and accounts teams
* Liaising with tenants and landlords
* Ensuring appropriate charges are made for all services
The right candidate must have the following:
* Proven property management background
* Good understanding of the legislation
* Highly organised and ability to problem solve effectively
