We are currently seeking a flexible individual to join our team based in Middlesbrough. Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing a site wide maintenance service, to the highest possible standards, across two manufacturing sites, and maintaining the company CMMS system, as well as working closely with a large operations team.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
+ Site wide maintenance and repairs
+ Maintaining Planned Preventative Maintenance system (CMMS)
+ Providing support for machine setup and changeovers
+ Departmental support, with Operations and EHS&Q
+ Daily liaison with Engineering Supervisor, Shift Managers, Production Team
+ Provision of effective and efficient response to equipment breakdowns
+ Work effectively with contractors when they are present on site
+ Provide support for permit to work control
We Are Looking For:
+ Flexibility, self-motivation and the ability to work using your own initiative
+ A multi-skilled technician, with recognized engineering qualification/apprenticeship
+ Previous experience of fault finding, and a strong appreciation of Health & Safety
+ Previous industry experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Fitter / Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Engineer / Electrical Process Technician / Shift Maintenance Engineer is essential.
The ideal candidate will be prepared to work in a busy industrial and often challenging environment, ideally with knowledge of pneumatics systems and be willing to be trained to CompEx. A reasonable degree of computer literacy is essential. On-going focused training and personal development programs will ensure your skill and knowledge are kept up to date with the latest practices, and provide the opportunity to develop your career with a company that prides itself on its' commitment to its' staff.
