This company are looking for an experienced Technical Bid Consultant who can be an integral part of providing cutting-edge, state of the art, bespoke audio visual solutions for major brands in many international territories. The Role: As Technical Bid Consultant, your job will be to:
* Provide technical and commercial support to the Bid team in preparation of Tenders for qualified opportunities within the EMEA territory
* The principle activity will be the preparation of technical bids for complete systems, comprising of image, networking and audio visual systems
* Understand system requirements from a tender document or a discussion with a client and prepare a detailed design to meet these requirements
* Understand the full Bid process and be able to develop project budgets and schedules, as well as work with the team to ensure processes are followed and key performance metrics such as win rate and qualification are met
* As the Technical Bid Consultant, you will be able to understand and develop project budgets and schedules
* Understand the key Stages in a Project life cycle in order to efficiently estimate work timelines
* Develop system schematics using CAD and costing documents during detailed technical discussion with a client

Experience, Skills and Attributes you will need to be successful:
* Previous experience of being a Technical Bid Consultant, with knowledge of Audio visual equipment and design
* Advanced CAD Skills associated to AutoCAD Lt 2014 or similar
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Project and either hold or be prepared to work for the Infocomm CTS-D qualification
* Technical understanding of room environments and the interaction of people and technology
* Experience and knowledge of AV systems and their components including; video/audio
* Strong written English skills and document formatting skills
