An award winning consultancy in the North West, who offer specialist environmental and planning services have an opportunity available for a consultant to senior grade Transport Planner, to join their busy team. You will have the chance to contribute toward the success of a number of developments across the region, including clients within retail, education, residential, industrial, health and waste sectors. Candidates at a Senior level would also be of interest.
Job Specification:
* Private sector transport planner experience;
* Strong report writer - including transport assessments, statements & travel plans;
* Experience of carrying out EIAs, feasibility appraisals & land-use studies;
* Proficient with Arcady, Picady & LinSig;
* Traffic management & traffic calming experience;
* Comfortable taking lead on the management of transportation projects/or sections of.
As a key member of a close-knit team, you will be heavily involved in a number of key projects, forging lasting relationships with clientele. Along with inputting to and overseeing project delivery, you will also play a role in mentoring and supporting more junior staff as they progress within the team.
The organisation are offering a starting salary of up to GBP35,000, along with a competitive benefits package. As part of a growing team, you will also have the opportunity to rise in seniority and take on more challenging responsibilities as they arise.
