As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be working within one class, assisting lessons under the direction of the class Teacher, as-well as leading 1-1 and group sessions of targeted intervention that will help raise attainment levels within lower ability children. Throughout this Primary Teaching Assistant role, you will be growing your skill set through numerous support and CPD sessions led by the inspirational AHT who looks after all the schools support staff, they will also be looking out for Graduates that show promise as the school is keen to offer paid Teacher training spots to Primary Teaching Assistants who excel in this role.
