Residential Support Worker needed - BedlingtonA dedicated support worker is needed in Bedlington, to assist young adults with EBD within a residential school. The position will involve one to one support to encourage independence and raising self-esteem at every opportunity. You will need to offer a consistent approach at all times and encourage a positive residential environment.The ideal Care Support worker will need to:
* Have previous experience within a residential care environment* Have experience supporting those with emotional and behavioural difficulties* Have a patient and caring approach when providing all aspects of care* Respect privacy and dignity at all times* Support other members of staff* Be flexible- working on a 24 hour pre-rota basis* Able to adapt to different environments* Be a driver with own car - travelling may be required
