Web Developer - Front End
This company is an exciting start-up in Cardiff, offering organic cotton fem-care products on a subscription basis. Their products are healthier, sustainable, and more convenient than high street alternatives.
Their aim is to disrupt the feminine hygiene market, changing the way women buy their products, whilst shedding light on period taboos.
Following fantastic growth in their first year, they are seeking to grow their marketing team to support their exciting and ambitious plans for the future.
The Role
This is a brand-new role, having previously used agencies for web development and management, they are moving development responsibilities in-house as they look expand activity.
You will be helping improve and maintain their existing website, building an impressive and engaging UX. Collaborating with marketing on wireframe and mock-ups to ensure web code and design standards are maintained throughout the site.
As their activity grows, there will be opportunities to develop new webpages for new products, as well as complete new websites for additional brands.
They are looking for someone who is innovative, passionate and committed to building top-quality, engaging web experiences.They are willing to consider a range of experience levels, but passion, energy and ability will be important.
Skills required:
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and PHP.
- Wordpress
- UI/UX best practices
Bonus skills:
- Design, including use of the Adobe Creative Suite of programs
- App development experience
Salary and benefits:
- GBP24-GBP36k pa dependent on skills and experience
- 25 days holiday
