Our client, a CAD software expert, is seeking an IT Sales & Software Support Executive to join their team. As specialists in design software, our client works with Mac OS X and Windows to create 2D drawing, architectural, engineering, illustration and exterior planning solutions.

The Role: 

As an IT Sales & Software Support Executive, you will support the expansion of our client’s brand and product range through a variety of sales and technical support activities. 

Specifically, you will work with the current customer base, responding to technical support requests. You will also be involved in converting sales leads and testing products. 

Your role will entail: 

- Fielding technical support requests from customers 
- Generating and winning new sales 
- Testing current and new products 
- Creating new customer accounts 
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers 
- Supporting partner organisations, such as those that sell our client’s products 

About You: 

Although no specific experience is required, to be considered, you will need: 

- Exposure to, or experience of using, Mac computers 
- Excellent communication skills 
- The aptitude to learn 
- A conscientious approach and the ability to manage your time and workload effectively 
- A strong team player mentality 

The ideal candidate will also have the following (but this is by no means essential): experience of working with CAD products, experience of testing products throughout a development lifecycle, customer relations experience. 

Basic Excel and Word skills would also be beneficial, as would basic analytical skill, such as generating reports and drawing info from stats. Experience of social media marketing would be equally advantageous. 

Our client is interested in hearing from candidates who are looking to pursue a career as a 1st Line Support Analyst, Software Support Technician, Sales and Marketing Assistant, or IT Sales Executive.
