My client, a market leading UK based Engineering Consultancy, is searching for an ambitious Senior Consultant to assist with the expansion of the Flood Risk Team in Leeds.
It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management or Hydrology and experience working for a UK based Consultancy managing Flood Risk, Surface Water and Drainage Projects.
Candidates are also required to have experience completing Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, Drainage Strategy or Hydraulic Modelling.
It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally and have experience mentoring team members.
As a Senior Flood Risk Engineer you will have the opportunity to manage and develop a new team of specialist based in Leeds. You will be expected to manage and complete varied Hydrological, Flood Risk, Drainage, River and Civil Engineering Projects for Private Sector Clients, Water Companies and Local Authorities.
Candidates will also be expected to liaise with Contractors and Clients ensuring Projects are delivered on time.
You will also be expected to complete technical work including Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, Drainage Strategy and Drainage Design using Microdrainage for Local Authorities, Water Companies and Private Sector Clients.
As a Senior Consultant you will also have the opportunity to complete and manage Hydraulic Modelling Projects from feasibility to completion.
