As our Retail Sales Assistant, you will be expected to provide a high standard of customer service to create a pleasant shopping experience for customers. You will be expected to:
* Delivering excellent customer service and engaging customers to support a culture of customer service and selling* Possessing good product knowledge or being enthusiastic to learn to enable you to effectively communicate with customers to be able to sell and up sell* Engaging in training and developing opportunities in accordance with retail operational guidelines and requirements* Working flexible hours across the trading week in accordance with the needs of the store* Processing customer sales and orders through the till, following procedures laid down in the Company Operations Manual
The Candidate
To be considered for our Retail Sales Assistant, you will be expected to:
* An enthusiastic, friendly & professional manner* Excellent telephone/ interpersonal skills* Good communication skills are essential* IT literacy skills* Must be able to work on initiative and as part of a team* UK driving licence advantageous* Competitor & product knowledge is desirable* Pricing & margin understanding is desirable
