Salary: GBP29,00 - GBP34,000 dependent on experience

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Occupational Therapist to work within a SEN College for the UK's largest provider of specialist services in education, mental health rehabilitation and learning disabilities.

About the College:
For over 40 years the College has equipped young people with learning disabilities and complex needs with the skills they require to lead productive and inclusive lives. The college provides person-centred education, care and therapeutic programmes.

Job Role
You will work alongside a Multidisciplinary Team including Care and education staff, speech and language therapists, allied therapists and psychologists. Taking a "hands on" approach it is essential that you will be a strong team player, with excellent communication skills. You must have excellent organisational and time management skills. You will provide quality assessments and interventions within a developmental model and using MOHO and sensory integration principles. Knowledge of risk assessment and clinical governance frameworks will prove advantageous. You may over time be responsible for the supervision and development of others within the OT team.

Candidate Profile:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and forward thinking senior Occupational Therapist.

You must have a degree or a post graduate diploma in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). Previous experience in Sensory Integration, Learning Disabilities and working with children/ young people is desirable.
