I am currently recruiting for a CAD Technician on behalf of a values-led organisation operating in the marine construction and renewables industries. This company is proud to put their staff at the very core of their business and the company is built on a culture of mutual respect to clients and staff.
We require a CAD Technician to support our engineering team. The varied role will range from modelling equipment to construction drawings associated with delivery of our Marine construction works. The successful candidate will preferably have a background in Civil Engineering, ideally with 2 years experience.
The Role:
· Producing vessel deck plans
· Modelling of plant and equipment
· Construction drawings
· Fabrication drawings
· Administer site returns
· Provide administrative support to Engineering team to include project programmes and health and safety documentation.
· Experience in CAD (2D and 3D drawing), Excel, Word, Preferable PowerPoint and Project.
