New opportunity not to be missed! Arriva Bus & Coach Ltd have an opportunity for a Head of Sales to join our growing team based in Cleckheaton. The successful Head of Sales will receive a competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum plus excellent benefits.

We specialise in the sale, rental and finance of new and used vehicles along with excellent, nationwide servicing and repair and parts support.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, as our Head of Sales you will be responsible for managing the sales team, working with Key Account & Business Development Manager, Head of Products and finance team to drive new, used and rental sales.

Key responsibilities as our Head of Sales include:

- Manage the field based sales team – day to day line management, sales targets versus actual, key prospects, deal structure support and bi annual appraisal meetings.

- Compile, analyse and act upon data gathered in regard to sales trends – ensure our offerings to the market cater to the market demands and our sales team use this intel to help drive sales.

- Support sales team with pricing / deal construction and sign off each deal

- Work closely with the head of products to forecast sales figures

- Develop approach and strategy for sales team to sell new vehicles, used vehicles, rental and after sales products

- Set and own sales budget

- Create, implement and maintain a data based dashboard to constantly manage sales figures and prospects

- Responsible for succession planning of sales team

- Ensure the CRM / power is used to its maximum capacity

- Work with the marketing department to help develop marking campaigns & product launch strategies

- Review the entire sales process from start to finish and amend to ensure its fit for purpose then maintain moving forward

Our ideal Head of Sales:

- Graduate level of intellect, preferably with a professional qualification or higher degree in a management discipline or equivalent relevant experience

- An understanding of financial management, wider management principles and leadership techniques coupled with a high level of commercial and strategic awareness

- Excellent communication, presentation, mediation and negotiation skills

- Excellent organizational change, project management, analytical and problem solving skills

- Commitment to personal development and development of indirect reports
