Bookkeeper / Office Manager
Epsom, KT19
£13,200 p/a (£22k pro rata)
3 / 4 days per week
Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper / Office Manager to join their busy construction company on a part time basis, in their offices in Epsom.
The successful candidate will be ideally have worked within a Bookkeeping / Office Manager role in the construction industry, be self-motivated, with a positive outlook and a clear focus on accuracy, whilst naturally assessing their own performance and showing initiative.
Position Summaries
This Bookkeeper / Office Manager role will be an autonomous role, so will require the successful candidate to have excellent organisational, self-management and initiative skills.
Your daily role will include an array of tasks such as;
• Preparing documents and Accounts accurately and ensuring deadlines are met
• General admin duties of answering telephone calls, directing to the right department and managing email correspondence
• General bookkeeping, raising invoices and filing
• Accurately maintain and update manual and computer records
About you
The successful candidate will have proven experience of working in a similar role and ideally within the same industry. You must have the required skill and experience to thrive within this role, including;
• Proven book keeping experience preferably in the construction industry
• Trustworthy
• Strong organisational skills
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to confidentially, sensitively and diplomatically deal with a range of clients, colleagues and secure information
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Effective personal organisation and time-management skills; able to use own initiative and work effectively as part of a team
