Web Developer - Full Stack

This design consultancy is looking for a talented and enthusiastic full stack web developer to work with them on a number of existing client websites and applications as well as new projects to come. You will need to be adaptable and experienced in an array of backend and front-end web technologies including PHP and JavaScript.

Responsibilities:

- Developing new functionality as well as maintaining existing code for a number of PHP web applications running on the Yii MVC framework.
- Developing new functionality as well as maintaining existing code for a number of AngularJS applications.
- Advise and consult on development strategies for new web projects
- Develop new websites / applications based on a provided UI design and specification
- Integrate applications and work with a number of external third party API's

Requirements:

- Proven working experience in web programming,
- Top notch programming skills and in-depth up-to-date knowledge of the following web technologies:
- HTML / CSS / SASS
- JavaScript
- Object Oriented PHP
- AngularJS
- Git version control
- PHP MVC frameworks (Ideally Yii framework)
- MySQL databases
- Experience working with e-commerce based websites
- Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development
- Strong organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets
- A passion for writing neat, clean and well commented code
