As a major provider of further, higher and adult education to over 10,000 students, their staff have quality at the heart of everything they do.

The curriculum of the 6th Form School currently includes students on study programmes, access courses, adult learners studying on part time ESOL courses and full cost recovery courses in EFL and English for International students.

Joining them as a Lecturer, you will be a member of Foundation and Intermediate Learning Section with a specific brief on achieving excellence in teaching, learning and assessment through the targeted use of support for students at risk of under-achieving.

Conducting assessments and monitoring candidates, you will complete all administrative work and maintain accurate records of all forms of assessment. Providing prompt and constructive feedback to candidates soon after assessment, you will take an active role in the pastoral care and extra-curricular activities of students and contribute, as appropriate, to the development and marketing of both new and established courses.

They are looking for a hardworking and flexible individual who has energy, enthusiasm and passion for ESOL, EFL and Full Cost Recovery English for International Students. With a degree or another relevant professional qualification in the relevant subject area, you will have excellent teaching skills and the ability to support, motivate and empathise with learners, including monitoring their progress.

Able to use new technologies to enhance teaching and learning to support students, you will be receptive to new ideas and initiatives and have a creative approach to problem solving. A teaching qualification is not essential however you must be willing to achieve one in line with current regulations.
