THE ROLE:
Working for an industry leading engineering company who design and manufacture process engineering equipment for customers across the UK & Europe, as a Mechanical Project Engineer you will play a vital role within the technical projects department.

You will be working on projects supplied to the water treatment, process engineering, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and industrial market sectors.

Using your mechanical engineering background, this varied job will involve CAD draughting, design work, producing product documentation, procurement, technical specification writing and will be based from this market leading company's regional office near Mansfield.

Working in a small dynamic team of engineers, projects engineers and design engineers, you will be exposed to many elements of the department to make you into a fully fledged engineer in the near future.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking for driven and career minded mechanical engineers with ideally supporting mechanical qualifications and experience.

The perfect background will be a mechanical engineer who has experience in a similar project engineering role to that described above.

If you are a recent mechanical engineering graduate (or similar) and have some industrial experience similar to that listed above then we are very keen to hear from you. Likewise if you've completed an apprenticeship or are a fully fledged engineer and have good mechanical experience you will be seriously considered for this position.

Any working knowledge of mechanical process equipment, pumps, valves, tanks, pressure vessels etc would be advantageous but essentially you will have mechanical experience and be driven to want to build a career with this market leading employer.

Furthermore, any exposure to the water, power generation, food/drinks manufacturing or pharmaceutical markets would be a big advantage to your application so please make such experience clear in your CV.
