Business Development Representative

My client, an exciting software vendor start-up who are experiencing rapid growth, are looking for a Sales Development / Business Development Representative to join their UK team. There is real opportunity to progress through the ranks and develop your sales career.
The company began in the US and have grown their EMEA practice significantly over the past few years. With further growth forecasted they require a strong business development team to continue driving their success which has been represented in a host of awards they have won and the consistent over achievement of the existing team.
The role will consist of seeking out new business through outbound calls over a variety of campaigns. You will identify opportunities through warm leads and cold calls, generate interest, qualify opportunities and educate potential customers. You will work closely with the field sales team, marketing department and your colleagues in the US to help drive strategy across the EMEA region.
To be considered for this position you will have demonstrable experience in a similar role of business development, preferably in a SaaS / Cloud software environment. You will understand technology solutions and how to effectively prospect this to potential customers. You will be a motivated self-starter with high activity rates and be commercially astute. Experience with Salesforce would also be an advantage.
