The successful IT Business Analyst ( BA , Retail )will have the opportunity to be involved throughout the full IT project life-cycle. Key functions will include the capturing and interpretation of business requirements, detailed analysis & solution design, test planning & testing with key business users & project handover to support teams on multiple on-going projects. The IT Business Analyst ( BA , Retail )role will involve communication across all levels and areas of the business and external suppliers and will require some travel to stores, warehouses & supplier offices.To be successful in this role the IT Business Analyst ( BA , Retail ) must be able to demonstrate the following knowledge and experience;- Experience of full IT project lifecycle.- Business Analyst qualifications / experience- Problem Solving- Experience of testing processes & defect reporting/tracking- Supporting systems in an end to end retail environment including some of the following: Merchandising / PO Management Systems, Transactional Web Sites / EPOS systems, Warehouse Management Systems, Financial & HR systems, Microsoft Office / Project / SQL.As the IT Business Analyst ( BA , Retail ) you must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and oral with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely across all levels of the business.
