An exciting opportunity has arisen within our busy Project Accounts team for a Client Finance Analyst. The role is within the finance function but is a commercially facing role, so would be a great opportunity for someone who is wanting to make the move into commercial accounting.

Main responsibilities of our Client Finance Analyst

- Support the Project Accounts team with day to day queries.

- Lead the review of Project Accounts processes and data to ensure all is in line with auditing requirements.

- Review of all revenue Inter-company Service Requests.

- Ensuring the accuracy of Management information before distribution.

- Lead the project Accounts team in providing financial training across the Group sharing information and best practices, helping them achieve fee sales targets, recovery targets and increase financial awareness of all staff.

- Assisting Senior Client Finance Manager with various reports and analysis for the Commercial and Management Teams.

- Assist the PA team with automation projects and improving the efficiency of the teams operations.

- Calculation of revenue ensuring all checks are in line with revenue reporting policy.

- Reconciliation of revenue tracking to the General ledgers.

- Completion of monthly balance sheet revenue related reconciliations for IPG reporting.

- Shared revenue calculation and journals.

- Creation and review on WIP aging.

- Upload and maintenance of the Revenue into various internal systems.

- Co-ordination of Project Accruals.

- Various revenue variance analysis reports.

- Line Management

- Responsible for the line management of a team of 3 which includes objective setting and annual reviews

Skills needed to become our Client Finance Analyst

- Key to this role is attention to detail, review of data to spot unusual or errors within data and to use your knowledge of the business to access the validity of balances.

- Excellent time management skills with the ability to re-assess priorities in a quick paced environment and to use own initiative.

- Excellent computer skills.

- Experienced in using Excel to an advanced level and manipulating large volumes of data.

- Confident communicator with the ability to communicate at all levels

- Part qualified CIMA or ACCA, or qualified by experience.
