Report Writer
This business manages critical incidents in the car and home on behalf of the world's leading insurers, brokers and fleet managers, together with warranty and service plan provision for many automotive manufacturers globally.
They are looking for an experienced Report Writer to deliver market leading reports and estimating service, meeting all client service level agreements.
Your key responsibilities:
- Provide reports that conform to client's policies and standards and building regulations.
- Ensure Clients and other Operational Teams can understand the current status of each claim, with clear and concise reports.
- Take information from site investigation and construct a repair method and costings.
- Apply principles of insurance to ensure policy principles are upheld.
- Ensure reports comply with industry and client standards. Reports are should be designed to be interpreted by a non-professional in the industry.
- Drainage reports to be written in accordance with the Drainage repair book.
- Instruct repair methods which use latest technology to minimise disruption to the customer.
- Make calls to customers who are not covered under their insurance. Explaining the reasons why and offering their services privately.
- Liaise with Drainage surveyors, site agents, project managers, area managers.
- Determine if damage to drain/water pipe is covered under the policy.
- Ensure daily allocation of reports is completed.
You will be planning activities and projects and seek input from others and share detailed reports and plans as required. You will also have support from the Underground services management team to achieve corporate and UK goals.
The experience you must have in order to succeed in this role is important and will include
- Managing customer relationships to deliver excellent customer service

- Problem solving, influencing and making decisions
- Making change work and using information effectively
- Developing business strategy
- Comprehensive knowledge of UK building regulations
- Knowledge of Environment agencies regulations in regards to off mains drainage
- Technical background within the industry
- Analytical, problem solving skills along with negotiation Skills
- Managing client, contractor, customer relationships
