Showroom Retail Sales Assistant - Leading Hot Tub Spa Brand (5-6 month contract)

GBP14,000 pro rata per annum Basic (GBP30,000 OTE)
++ Excellent opportunity for a sales professional with a good personable and telephone manner and be computer literate to join a leading Hot Tub Spa leader on a fixed term contract. This role would include weekend working.
Key Role Responsibilities:
+ To support the Showroom Manager with the day to day running of the luxury end HotSpring Spas hot tub and Endless Pools showroom
+ Negotiate best prices with customers to sell hot tubs, pools (where applicable), water care and accessories, meeting targets as set by the Sales Manager.
+ Assist to maintain high quality of cleanliness and tidiness in showroom at all times.
+ Assist to maintain high quality of cleanliness of all display hot tubs and pools (where applicable) at all times. Perform regular water chemistry checks and maintain accurate reports at all times.
+ Maintain excellent product knowledge and technical information required to demonstrate the products.
+ Assist in the hosting of promotional activities.
+ Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods in a timely manner, by telephone, post and personal visits if required.
+ Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
+ Use database, updating customer and prospect records appropriately, and in a timely fashion.
+ Check stock availability and to allocate stock sold to customers
+ Process customer payments accurately and immediately using the SAGE system.
It may be necessary to carry out site surveys and home visits, or organise site surveys and home visits within the group, as and when required.
Showroom Sales Assistant Required Skills:
+ Clear positive communicator with good negotiation skills
+ Commission based selling
+ Proactive
+ Self-motivated and organised
+ Smart professional appearance
+ Results/goals orientated
+ Good numeracy an literacy skills
+ Must be computer literate
+ Full driving licence and own car preferred.
Whist experience selling hot tubs is not required, it would be preferred if the applicant has knowledge of selling high end products. You would need to appreciate how important it is to provide excellent customer service and communication in order to help client to make an informed choice and then to offer ongoing back up and support as and when the need arises.
