Mee Cha is a retail food and drink operation specialising in the sale of Bubble Tea and Frozen Yoghurts. The business can be operated from a custom built kiosk in a shopping mall, a retail unit or as a 'bolt on' to an existing business such as a coffee shop or an ice cream parlour.

Mee Cha is a privately owned business founded in 2011. The core product, Bubble Tea also known as pearl milk tea or boba milk tea, is a Taiwanese tea-based drink invented in Taichung in the 1980s. Most bubble tea recipes contain a tea base mixed/shaken with fruit or milk, to which chewy tapioca balls and/or fruit jellies are often added. The "bubble" refers to the foam created by shaking the tea. Mee Cha offer over 200 flavours of Bubble Tea to suit all tastes as well as a delicious range of frozen yoghurts.

Mee Cha are seeking individuals that thrive in a busy retail environment, can build and manage a team, are passionate about our products and recognise that quality and customer service that goes beyond the customer's expectation level, are all vital in building a successful business. The business model can be run as an 'operator' model where the franchisee is involved on a day-to-day basis or a 'management' model where franchisees employ staff.

Based on the level of sales achieved in our existing business you can expect that by year five your Mee Cha franchise will be showing six figure profit level.

A typical kiosk model would require around GBP80k with the franchisee having at least 50% liquid.
