The IT Infrastructure Engineer Opportunity:

You will work alongside the project management team to enable successful solution delivery and execution of complex change requests to new and existing UK and internationally based customers. 

Responsibilities will include:

+ Provisioning, configuration, site installation, testing and support of services including Managed Hosting, Managed Network, Managed Applications, Cloud Services, Colocation, complex change requests and customer migration as relevant to your individual technical expertise.
+ Provide Subject Matter Expert level expertise to our clients and Provisioning Engineers on provisioning systems including virtualisation, networking, storage, Linux applications and Windows applications as relevant to your individual technical expertise.

Required experience should include :

+ Experience with Microsoft packages.
+ Experience specialising in a minimum of ONE of any of the following provisioning applications:

- Virtualisation

+ VMware ESX/ESXi 5.0/5.5/6.0
+ VMware vSphere
+ vCloud Director
+ Microsoft Windows Server with Hyper-V

- Networking

+ Cisco Routers/Switches/Firewalls
+ Configuration and administration of LAN/WAN
+ Firewall configuration
+ Router configuration
+ Switch configuration
+ F5 Load balance configuration
+ Network Protocols e.g. TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, SSL, SSH etc.
+ Cisco ACI (Software Defined Networking

- Storage

+ System hardware - HP SANs (MSA and 3PAR)
+ iSCSI SAN configuration
+ Fibre Channel SAN configuration

- OS & Applications (Windows and Linux)

+ Microsoft Windows Server (2008 – 2012)
+ Linux (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian)
+ Installation and advanced configuration of standard OS components and services.
+ Server applications and security, including IIS, Exchange, Lync/Skype, Microsoft SQL, MySQL, cPanel, Plesk, Apache.
+ Experience with running complex medium / large scale IT projects to the SME market on time and on budget.
+ Experience of operating in virtual team environments
