ZF is developing automatic passenger car transmissions for JLR at our Tech Centre UK with support from our German R&D facilities.

Your task as Technical Draughtsman (m/f)

• Use CAD and traditional drawing techniques to prepare drawings of manufacturing equipment (e.g. tools, fixtures, gauges, assembly stations and test rigs)
• Plan the resource availability and sub contract work to nominated specialist design companies.
• Keep abreast of latest CAD, drawing storage and printing technology and recommend implementation as appropriate
• Create and maintain factory layouts, to include modifying schemes and marking out positions
• Provide and maintain a drawing viewing and print facility

Your profile as Technical Draughtsman (m/f)

• Successfully completed vocational training in a technical or engineering discipline
• Work experience in Manufacturing engineering and/or in technical drawing
• Proven experience in working with Catia V5 and PTC Windchill
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient language skills in English
