Commercial Administrator
Dartford
GBP20,000-GBP25,000 per annum + company benefits
My client is looking for a Commercial Administrator to join their team in Dartford initially on a 6 month contract basis and then moving on to permanent.
You will be required to assist the commercial team (Quantity Surveyor's) with the execution of commercial, financial and contractual compliant performance.
The Company
My client is a successful construction, development, maintenance, investment and management group operating throughout England, predominantly in London and the southern counties. The Maintenance division is expanding and is successfully providing facilities management services to a variety of clients, predominantly within the healthcare and housing association sectors.
Duties include:
* Subcontractor applications, VAT invoices and payments
* Invoicing clients for work in a proper and timely manner
* Raising materials purchase orders
* Credit control
* Booking figurative data onto Planet and onto internal collection spreadsheets
* Running internal and external reports
* Assist with ensuring Subcontractors and Suppliers are approved and meet company standards prior to procurement
* Assist with the Cost Control of building contracts
* Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers
* Train others in the use of systems and processes
You must:
* Have a strong administration background with excellent numerical skills
* Be confident on MS Excel
* Have excellent communication skills
* Have a confident and friendly telephone manner
It is ideal for this role if you have previous experience working in/as part of a commercial team in the construction industry, however this isnt essential.
