* Attain and where possible, exceed revenue and margin targets to directly contribute to the team's targets, objectives and profitability goals

* Promptly follow-up on business opportunities assigned to you

* Plan, develop and execute approaches/pitches, including conducting presentations that ultimately create opportunities that convert through to become Customers, who continually contribute to the business growth

* Professionally represent at relevant meetings to correctly showcase the latest Solution Suite

* Proactively, self-generate sales prospects through: research, attending industry events & conferences, networking, cold-calling, advertising or other effective means, that increases the 'new business' pipeline, qualified opportunities and number of closed deals

* Qualify opportunities in order to accurately determine requirements and sales process, including: status, timelines, budgets/limits, Financial Year, stages and milestones etc., along with identifying associated key stakeholders & decision makers, as required to progress and close deals swiftly and successfully

* Develop trusted relationships with C-level management, that builds long term and successful Customer relationships placing in 'preferred supplier' status.

* Build close and mutually supportive working relationships with members of the Team and other personnel, providing regular and effective communication to management and project & product representatives

* Work with relevant personnel to produce professional and accurate quotations, proposals and responses, as well as renegotiation documentation, that address Customer's needs, concerns and objectives while meeting requirements

* Input and regularly maintain accurate and up-to-date information within Salesforce that correctly covers; business leads, sales opportunities, timelines, pipeline and contacts details etc.

* Work closely with Marketing to develop and evolve campaigns that identify potential new Customers

* Maintain a thorough knowledge of the applications & services, market conditions and competition

* Internally communicate canvassed Customer input/feedback on applications, so as be evaluated as part of product development roadmaps

* Secure Customer's agreement to act as an product reference site and mutually develop meaningful case studies

What you'll need to succeed
Experience

* 2 years Business to Business sales experience, with a relevant contact list

Aviation market, biometric experience is an added advantage, though not essential.

* Direct sales experience in a target based, commission orientated, enterprise sales environment

* Strong commercial awareness and demonstrable commercial success.

* Proficient with Microsoft Office products

* Used to working with a sales CRM system e.g. Salesforce

* Demonstrable evidence of continual success in a similar role, in line with role responsibilities

* Ability to work out sales deals that will accomplish sales targets, budgeted margins and adhere to the company's sales policies

* Comfortable in creating and leading Customer sales presentations

* Excellent customer service and communication (written and verbal) skills.

* Ability to understand customer needs and develop deliverable product and commercial solutions to satisfy their requirements.

* Ability to develop and influence relationships at multiple levels within the customer organisation, including at a senior level.

* Ability to work independently to achieve ambitious business targets.

* Must be willing to travel nationally and internationally with out of hours working occasionally required.
