We are rapidly expanding business and due to excellent growth is taking on new premises and is now looking for a Production Compounder, to join the production team.
The Flavour Compounder is an essential role within the business.
The business is a growing family business which believes in looking after its staff and creating a pleasant working atmosphere where though people work very hard they are also appropriately rewarded.
Compounder Job Description
Manufacture liquid and powder products accurately and to specification from issued 'Works Orders' by following relevant policies and procedures.
Ensure all samples, powder or liquid, are manufactured accurately and to specification.
Store and retrieve raw materials appropriately and safely
Be aware when goods need re-testing / re-ordering
Ensure goods are labelled appropriately
Load unload goods as required
Ensure QC gets samples of production runs promptly
Handle the fork lift truck and other mechanical handling equipment with due care
To ensure production areas are clean and tidy at all times.
Key skills:
Accuracy and ability to work in a fast paced environment
Basic understanding of maths and chemistry
Excellent communicator on all levels, verbally and written
Flexibility
A cool head
Qualifications: A' level or equivalent
