LOCATION: Linby, Nottinghamshire
JOB TITLE: Machined Parts Inspector / Quality Inspector
SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP20,000 - GBP32,000 dependent on skills and experience (Overtime is often available but not compulsory)
WORKING HOURS: Full Time (various - Morning Shift - 38 Hours Monday to Friday / Afternoon Shift - 36 Hours Monday to Thursday)

Due to continued growth they now seek experienced Machined Parts Inspector / Quality Inspector to join their existing team.

For the right candidate our client are have a range of roles where depending on your skills and experience salary will be in the range of GBP20,000 - GBP32,000
THE ROLE: As a Machined Parts Inspector / Quality Inspector you will be based in Linby and will undertake First-off and batch inspection of machined components and assemblies to ensure all parts and components are completed to strict measurement requirements and the highest standards. You will have strong knowledge of first principle measuring equipment and the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings. CMM measurement or programming experience would be an advantage, but not essential.
Key Responsibilities for the Machined Parts Inspector / Quality Inspector role in Linby, Nottinghamshire will include:
Inspect machined components during production and after completion and report findings
Ensure all components meet company's strict high standards
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Read and interpret Geometric Symbols
Be able to work in metric and Imperial.
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the Machined Parts Inspector / Quality Inspector's role will have strong knowledge of relevant measuring equipment and must have the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings. You will be a highly accurate person who shows attention to detail and someone who takes great pride in their work.
Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Machined Parts Inspector / Quality Inspector's role in Linby, Nottinghamshire :-
Must be within commutable distance to Linby, Nottinghamshire
Previous experience using first principle and other relevant measuring equipment essential
Experience interpreting engineering and technical drawings is essential
Must be hard working and motivated person who takes pride within their work
Previous experience in the aerospace industry would be desirable
