What you'll need to succeed

* Management of projects, on time, within budget and in a professional manner and direct people management of the project team.
* Control, direct and co-ordinate teams of engineers and sub-contractors work whilst on site.
* Responsible for the implementation of procedures for the execution of work, briefing instructions to the staff in a timely fashion and ensuring that best practice is exercised.
* Planning and scheduling of manpower and equipment requirements for programmed jobs, guaranteeing that the jobs are completed within the specified time frame and budget allocated.
* Conduct regular safety and quality audits and monitor health & safety of allocated engineers and sub-contractors to ensure that the employees are working safely by using the correct equipment in the correct manner in compliance with all legislation.
* Manage work in hand to maximise productivity of the team, accuracy of forecasts, and jobs completed in a timely manner.
* Management of CDM regulations, method statements, risk assessments, COSHH regulations and toolbox talks on all projects being carried out.
* Monitor and control allocated budgets and prepare reports and programmes as required by the contracts manager / Project Manager
* Qualified to an HNC, HND or equivalent dependant on the level
* CSCS or relevant site card
* Full UK driving licence
* Proven history of delivering mechanical building services
