Site Service Engineer (Facilities Management)
GBP30,000 to GBP35,000 + Paid Oyster Card + 25 Days Holiday and Bank holidays + Pension + Overtime
Monday to Friday (40 Hours a week)
Site Service Engineer required for a market leading facilities Management Company based in London, they can offer 17th edition training and a very competitive package including overtime paid at premium rates.
The Site Service Engineer will suit candidates from ANY background who are looking to continue or get into facilities management. Candidates will need to have electrical and mechanical knowledge and will be working on compressors, bearings, valves, dampers, belts, motors, pumps. The role will be maintenance and servicing on all aspects of facilities amendments including HVAC and lighting. Experience of working with BMS systems will be advantageous, however not essential.
The Site Service Engineer will need to be comfortable covering central London offices and be flexible to occasionally work between 21:00 and 06:00, when some offices are only accessible for servicing. These night shifts are paid at a premium rate and the following day will not be worked. Electrical and mechanical knowledge will be needed due to the varied work. A pool car is available as well as paid Oyster card to commute to the jobs. The Site Service Engineer will need to have strong communication and organisational skills to liaise with other team members and clients.
The Site Service Engineer role:
* Working on all aspects of facilities management I.e. HVAC, Air conditioning and Lighting
* Working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday (Overtime paid at time and a half over 40 hours)
*Electrical and mechanical maintenance
The Site Service Engineer:
* Comfortable working Nights when required (Paid at premium rates and following day not worked)
* Comfortable travelling in Central London to client sites
* Happy to work overtime when required (Paid at premium rates)
* Good communication skills to liaise with colleagues and clients
