Job Title: Quality Manager (Metrology)

Are you a Quality Manager with demonstrable Metrology / Calibration experience? You must have experience managing a quality system within an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory and ISO 9001:2015.

Overview:

Reporting to the Operations Director the principal objective of the Quality Manager is to ensure that products are fit for purpose, are consistent and meet both external and internal requirements, coordinating the internal activities to ensure such quality standards are achieved.

Responsibilities:

* Maintain the laboratory UKAS accreditation;
* Develop and maintain the Calibration Laboratory quality systems, Quality Manual and procedures to meet the UKAS requirements in accordance ISO 17025;
* Maintain the site Quality Management System in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015;
* Maintain the audit programs for the above standards and conduct technical audits of the calibration laboratories;
* Quality management of two busy calibration laboratories;
* Workload management to meet customer delivery requirements

Skills/Experience Required:

* Experience of working in a fast-paced and often demanding engineering environment
* Demonstrable Metrology / Calibration experience
* Experience in a quality management role
* Lead Auditor training knowledge and experience
* Experience of managing a quality system within an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory and ISO 9001:2015
* Experience of operating at management level
